Millie Marshall Fitness is so different from any other gym/class in Newcastle. Millie is an amazing coach with soooo much knowledge. She not only tells you what you need to do, but she explains why and pays such close attention to everyone in every single class. Millie’s attention to detail is amazing, you can tell it’s so important to her that everyone does well and gets the most out of being a member of MMF. She also makes herself so available for chats, to answer questions, to give advice and really goes above and beyond to make sure every one of her clients feels valued and nurtured. I am still quite new to MMF, and before my first class was so anxious and nervous that I almost didn’t turn up. Luckily I did, because by the end of that first hour I felt incredibly at home and excited by the possibilities I would be able to achieve. The vibe at the gym is so encouraging and so welcoming and friendly. People encourage each other, help each other and really push each other to do the absolute best they can and to meet their goals. The culture and the environment that Millie has created is incredible, warm and so friendly. I love that everyone turns up for themselves, but also that everyone really inspires each other and builds each other up. I honestly look forward to going to class every day. I first started at Millie Marshall Fitness when the gyms reopened after COVID. I had been thinking about it for such a long time but never had the courage to sign up.
I first emailed Millie and told her about my anxiety and nerves behind signing up and going. Straight away I received an email back and just from that one email, I knew I had to join.
I had not trained properly in forever and was incredibly nervous about meeting everyone. My first session I instantly felt at home. Everyone there was so welcoming and helpful. Millie kept an eye on me pretty much the whole time and explained the exercises so clear and detailed. She also takes the time to demonstrate each exercise before every class to make sure we understand how to conduct the exercise and why it is so important to do it correctly.

6 months later and I have never felt so strong, confident and happy within myself. I'm lifting the heaviest I have ever lifted, I train 5 days a week (and more so I actually LOOK FORWARD to training), I have met new and incredible people who I now call friends and I have learned to much throughout my fitness journey.
Millie has taught me not to be so hard on myself, to be proud of my accomplishments and how to have a balanced lifestyle.

Millie Marshall Fitness isn't just about losing weight or lifting heavy. It's a sense of community, love and support. It's so much more than just a gym and it is honestly the best decision I have ever made.

I joined MMF in August 2019, when I was at an all time low, physically and mentally.

I had followed Millie on Instagram for about 6 months at this point and really idolised Millie and her training, so always wanted to join. Then one day, i saw Millie promoting her first ever 6 week challenge. I was anxious to join because I would have been doing this on my own and I didn’t know anyone else who attended Millie’s gym at the time. I went and back and forth multiple times, until one day I finally just messaged Millie and to be honest, it was out of desperation for help. Millie responded so quickly & kindly and encouraged me to join. I knew, just from her response, that this was definitely a gym I wanted to be a part of & signed up straight away.

18 months later, I’m not only 10kgs down, but I am sooo much stronger both physically and mentally, I’m kinder, I have so much more respect and love for myself and I’m genuinely happy. And this is a credit to Millie for the community she has created at MMF, but also for the person she is.

I wake up every day excited to go to MMF & excited to be around so many likeminded people who genuinely want to help, push and encourage you to be the best you can be. I have built so many friendships and I have changed so much as a person.

I have loved watching Millie grow into the trainer she is and watching the gym grow with so many new, beautiful faces. And I know that while I’m Millie’s biggest fan, she is most definitely mine as well.

I love MMF & everything about it. And I’m so blessed to be a part of it.

Emilee Jones

I started training with Millie the end of 2019 when she was in a little makeshift gym beside a Cross Fit shed.

From the very beginning in that intimate setting of 3-4 people a class to the 15-20 people a class when I was there last she has always been incredibly supportive and encouraging. She genuinely cares and strives to ensure each individual under her guidance is looked after, and giving their all.

I started out going once or twice a week to going 4 or 5 days a week and being a part of her 8 week challenge in early 2020. That experience helped me become stronger than I thought I could be, and from someone like myself who grew up with PCOS, I truly believe that that my experience and results from training allowed me to conceive my first baby.

I can't wait to be able to join her classes once again.

I joined MMF in February 2020 after starting an 8 Week Challenge and I knew in the first week I wanted to stay on after the challenge and honestly, I have never looked back. MMF has completely changed my outlook on exercise. I no longer view going to the gym as just a way to burn calories, I’ve grown stronger than I’ve ever thought I could, and my level of fitness has increased so much. Millie has so much passion for all aspects of health and is so committed to each and every member here at MMF. I couldn’t recommend MMF more.

MMF has honestly changed my life for the better in so many ways. Before starting with millie I was the type of person who wouldn’t step foot into a gym purely based on the fact I would be judged, MMF is the most welcoming, loving family anyone could ask for. Millie is such a unique coach and anyone who is trained by her will say we are incredibly lucky to have someone who cares for each of us so much.
I couldn’t imagine my life with Mil & the MMF family. She has taught me to love myself in so many ways, and I don’t think I will ever be able to train anywhere else.

MMF has been so much more then a gym for me. I’ve fallen in love with working out and moving my body, I’ve gained so much self confidence and knowledge about nutrition and fuelling my body and mind. Millie has been extremely supportive and caring from day one, going above and beyond to ensure we all look after both our physical and mental health. The community she has built has allowed me to thrive and gain so many new friends and connections, also learning correct techniques when exercising. I was nervous to start at MMF but instantly felt welcomed and seen. Mille has created a space where the environment is positive and supportive. I love how everyone is there for the same purpose and all the girls are beyond friendly and helpful. I have seen a change in my mindset and I find myself happy and excited to go to the gym where as in the past I have struggled with motivation. Millie and Kay are super encouraging and fun to have as trainers, MMF is the best choice I could of made for myself so thank you 🤍🤍
